After successfully completing India’s largest trials initiative in 2022-23, BBFS Residential Academy, backed by enJogo, is gearing up for the second edition starting in November 2023. In the first edition, 18,500+ football players aged between 9-23 registered for the trials from 120+ Indian cities.

Kishore Taid, the founder and CEO of enJogo and BBFS, expressed his satisfaction with the trials initiative in 2022-23, saying, “We are thrilled with the overwhelming response from the inaugural edition. It is essential to provide a robust entry point for players to showcase their abilities and assess their performance. We aim to take the trials initiative to every district of India so that no talent is left out,”

With the motto of ‘Building Future Champions’, the upcoming edition of the BBFS Residential Academy trials will once again cover all parts of the country. Select BBFS scouts will travel to different cities and engage a larger pool of talents.

Bhaichung Bhutia, Co-founder of BBFS and football legend, also weighed in on the significance of the initiative, stating, “For young players to get the right opportunities and become professional footballers, they must enter a well-structured sporting curriculum from an early age,”

The trials have become a vital stepping stone for young players who aspire to pursue a football career. It not only gives them a platform to evaluate their prowess in the game but also a chance to join the country’s largest and most-rated football program.

BBFS Residential Academy is a unique boarding school program that offers an ideal blend of football excellence and academic development. The student-athletes at BBFS Residential Academy reside on state-of-the-art campuses, where they immerse themselves in a 24×7 footballing environment. These dedicated athletes train twice a day under the tutelage of licensed coaches, engage in competitive matches at the state and national levels, and pursue their academic education at schools affiliated with ICSE/CBSE, ensuring a well-rounded development of their sporting and academic skills.

Kishore Taid highlighted their mission, saying, “Our goal is to provide a comprehensive platform that ensures young talents have access to the right balance of academics and sports. We aim to offer a nurturing environment where they can flourish and develop holistically,”

Currently, BBFS Residential Academies are functional in four regions –  Vedas International School (Greater Gurgaon), Barnes School & Junior College (Maharashtra), Assam Rifles Public School (Meghalaya), Maharishi Vidya Mandir (Karnataka).

The first round will start on the 19th of November in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi.
